If you recall Rocky Jones and the Silvercup Rocket from the 1950's space opera and tv show, you may want to donate to, or visit, the restoration of the rocket, at the Kalamazoo Air Zoo

It was raffled off int he 1960's, became a roadside attraction, was stripped and graffittied, then was bought by a salvage yard owner who let it rust and deteriorate farther, then finally was bought by the Kalamazoo Air Zoo (it is on it's way to becoming the largest air museum in the US) and is now in restoration by the museum specialists. http://www.mst3ktemple.com/silvercup_rocket.html and

Old Dominion Freight Line has a rolling museum in a semi trailer and brought it to SEMA, it's very cool, here are just a couple exhibits

Tim and Pam Wellborn's Musclecar Museum has a cool collection of Mopars and other interesting cars, they have the largest collection of 71 Chargers, and the nations largest collection of Dodge cars

They have the world’s largest collection of 1971 Chargers. They have patiently, and quietly put together the nation’s largest collection of Dodge cars. Their collection of musclecars not only includes Dodge cars but also a very impressive lot of Oldsmobile 442 W-30 Convertibles, Ford Boss 429 Mustangs, LS6 Chevelles, GSX Buicks, AMC Javelins, and a Pontiac Ram Air IV GTO Judge Convertible, one of six known to exist.

Templeton Hall houses the nationally recognized Automotive Restoration Technology Program. The spacious 33,000-square-foot facility is equipped with specialized equipment and tools to support the unique curriculum of the auto restoration program.

America’s Car Museum (ACM - LeMay Museum) has established a partnership with McPherson College to promote both institutions and their work in automotive preservation and education.

Through the alliance, ACM, set to open in June 2012, will provide vehicles and educational opportunities for McPherson College, a liberal arts college located in McPherson, Kan., that offers the country’s only four-year degree program in automotive restoration

The relationship provides an outlet for ACM to expand on its educational mission, as the museum will offer regular internships to McPherson College students providing practical work experience with more than 500 vintage cars at ACM. The museum will also supply cars to McPherson College for on-campus use in automotive restoration and preservation courses, including work on project vehicles.
